Yea bit if u upload a song with samples in it it never gets strikes.

I’ve literally done this so many times with completely obvious samples and never had a stroke on sc

This is the future of AI controlling shit, dumb af.

Wow that’s a pain in the ass.

Can add that it’s also because of extremely wonky copyright laws, and janky tech trying to enforce these.

This is so fucking dumb. I hate soundcloud.

Would recommend just uploading a pack of the songs onto Wetransfer for everyone to dl, but kinda ruins the anonymous compo part of the compo.

I thought about that but it puts a lot of onus on the enduser and I thought there’d be less interaction.

There’ll definitely be less interaction with this approach. Another hacky way could be that someone sets up a small streaming server just for this purpose.

I tried to put them on bandcamp but I have to have an artist account or some bullshit

Missed this cos big plates, looking fwd to hearing the entries, i only got a beat going so probably would have swerved the copyright crimes yall are committing (smh etc)

wtf. pita fr u know.

Bandcamp is not a sustainable solution for this type of content.

Kinda fucked that that song messes with so many of the tracks… trying to think of some other platform. Hearthis? Clyp?

youtube?

Way too cumbersome to change song names etc. Might also have similar problems with copyright bots mistaking it for something else.

google drive you can preview song on there? i googled similar sites. mix cloud?

Hmm ye, I know Dropbox also has this feature. Mixcloud is literally just for mixes, and has like layers of paywalls.

remix competition mix? with timestamps lol yeah i have no idea then stupid copyright
