This is on my list too. I played with it for a bit and it’s sick.
Pretty good watch actually.
And the followup where Behringer reply all butthurt and lie through their teeth about “donating 1000 synthesizers to poor children” and he actually investigates and finds no such thing…
belt turntable sounds impractical
I support some of the stuff Behringer does if they don’t keep doing stupid shit.
Watched the videos and also Simon’s. What they’re doing is pretty scary tactics, definitely not good for the industry.
50% off on u-he stuff
Behringer is shit
I love my Bro-1. The Boog is cool.
The TD-3 is an Acid machine for the price of a Volca.
Just bought a pair of Focal Alpha 65s, should be with me early next week
had enough of producing on HD25s
@agent47 i think you have these?
Damn! Had no idea you’ve been mixing with the hd25s
You are going to fucking love using proper monitors
Man, also been producing on hd25s until like a couple weeks ago. Trying to get used to my pair of passive Tannoy Reveal again.
Rant alert
Yeah, for the past 2,5 years i have and i think i had enough. Originally i was planning to buy a pair of studio headphones, but changed my mind.
I do have a pair of active Tannoys that are in Slovakia, left them there before i briefly moved to UK.
I’ve moved around a lot after coming back and after that i suppose i was just too lazy to find someone to help me bring them over to CZ (don’t have a car).
The whole covid thing last year certainly did not help with that either.
So I just told myself fuck it and bought these, they are an upgrade to the Tannoys and should last me a while Can’t wait to have them here.
I just got the Alpha 65s as well! Good investment, you’ll be happy with em
Nice!
Monitor buddies!
Yeah man, I love them! Super tight low end and loads of details in the highs that I didn’t have on my old alesis monitors. Not sure what your rooms like but I have a fairly small room so was worried they’d be too big but didn’t have any problems bass wise so I think you’re in for a treat!
Yeah im really happy with the bass presence on them, doesnt quite have the low end extension of the 80s for reaaally deep stuff but its definitely sufficient. and for a small room like you said the 80s would be too much
On the off chance any non regulars check this thread, im selling a few bits from the studio
finally grabbed a motu m4, so good for the price. can definitely notice a difference from my old focusrite. meter display is v nice too
my focusrite 18i20 is my bottleneck i’d really like to be able to run all 24 direct outs off my mixer to logic. would save alot of print time…
for now I setup so its 24 ins to patchbay 1 in my desk, direct in to the board and then my samplers thru patchbay 2 on the other side of the desk; which can patch to 1, or send as a direct in from patchbay 2 to logic bypassing the mixer. I really need to replace the 18i20 but any 24 in DAC frontend solution is going to be more expensive than i’d like. better convertors would be great too. ;/
