Tbh I didn’t watch the video. Had seen a review by Mojaxx earlier on DJCityTV, but then at time of posting earlier video had filtered the search’s looking for the one with the most views. Didn’t know it would be that hands on showcase.
Mojaxx always goes in with his reviews. I’ve read online that A.M.C. whose known for drum and bass has done a hands on mix as well, but haven’t been able to find the video.
New pioneer controller:
Jammed on a Roland Jupiter-X 61-key Synthesizer from Guitar Center. I was blown away at the quality of the sound/ effects. It’s like $3000 though lol way outa my budget at the moment.
Still drooling over the idea of having a Moog DFAM, Subharmonicon, Eowave Quadrantid Swarm and an Elektron Rytm MKII all running in a setup…

wish i had an s950 instead of the 900 lol. such a good combo though, 12bit for tuffness and then 16bit for anything that needs a little more high fidelity. the s1000 is nice cause its one of the earlier 16bit samplers and has more character than the later “cd quality” 16bit converters

just looked at it again, it’s actually a d-2 which is a better turntable (s shaped tonearm instead of straight). if it works well its a good deal, good ones will go for ~250
