I don’t think it’s a thing for that specific model, but for older ones. But yeah, insanely scummy tactics. I assume they will continue going in this direction, business-wise.

Edit: this being said the older hardware still supports Recordbox 6 without any issues ref. the video.
Yeah, if you can find a Rekordbox 6 install, you can use that. I would not recommend hooking the hardware up to an internet connection at all though, if you’re going for an older one.
Also, if you get one of these old models used, it could well be that it’s already been “bricked” AKA registered in some database at Pioneer DJ, just fyi.

Congrats tho on the kid tho I guess, I sold my pioneer CDJ2000nxs2 players for marriage……my technical 1210 mk2’s years prior to fund dreams with a Persian honey half way around the globe….man. Wish I had all that audio gear still, trust
