Ok. Thats fair. I just cant let go how they get off the hook for that stuff they give to their fans. I mean, i used to listen to people like skrillex when i was first getting into electronic and was amazed by it. When i started listening to less popular stuff my taste began to change. Looping the first drop for the second bass drop became boring to me. It seems lazy. He might as well be making half of a song. Thats why i say there is no effort. Maybe he thinks that its ok. Maybe i do need to just accept that this type of stuff is subjective. Or maybe someone else needs to be proven wrong. Ugh. Dammit. My words are present but where is my sword? Ill find it soon and this will all be settled.

I agree on this, but the reason really is that it’s club music and most DJs only play the first drop (or then only the second drop).

it’s repetitive music, easier to mix and get people dancing, but then so is regular rock music, intro verse chorus verse maybe a solo etc

and it doesn’t really matter what mainstream artists are doing, if you don’t like that fuck it do what you want

It’s a full song when artist so decides. You could ofc just have the song to end after the first drop. But it doesn’t hurt to have it looping twice.

And for anyone that cares, im not one of those people that think a song is bad just because i dont like it. I respect a lot of music and artists. But im picky.

It upsets me when people give dislikes on YouTube just because they dont like the song and ignoring the amount of effort put into the song.

I dont know. Being social isnt mandatory. I think about music everyday all day. Thats why i feel like im at home now.

Say. Why do people say “write?” Asa has said that before in interviews and i dont know why. You only write lyrics and music notes. Not the song itself? Maybe im just unfamiliar with the lingo.
