I imagined high school music, so classical theory, history, performance etc. But you could try privately tutoring music production/technology. The income would just be less dependable (and probably less).

i was being subjective. I honestly dont think mainstream artists put a lot of effort in. Some do. Most dont. Compared to underground artists, anyway.

I dont think that would be my thing. Classical music. Not teaching it but i dont really know. Things may change. I just dont think they will.

It’s good that you’re motivated to do something. Producing music is a better use of your free time than sitting on your arse, so to speak.

Just to challenge this, when you start producing you’ll find that amount of effort does not equate to quality.

Coldplay will do, but we could also stick to ones you already gave earlier, Tiesto, David Guetta, Skrillex and so on. What makes you think they use less time on their music than somebody else? I remember seeing an interview by somebody (can’t remember who) who were touring with Skrillex and he said it’s pretty nuts that after the show, when it’s 5am and everybody gets their first chance to sleep, Skrillex just might open his laptop and start making tunes, then sleep few hours at some point and repeat the same thing next day in another city.
