I would say the writing may be a little over hyped, but I think Funtcase’s mixdowns are simply next to perfect.

yeah, definitely. I agree completely. Ive just thought his mixdowns in recent tunes are really good, although most of his newer shit has been dnb. Personal preference i guess though, idk

I just think people fetishize the production of bro-step stuff, where the mix down or the sound design takes precedent over actually making a good track, and that frustrates me. I always thought Gorilla Flex sounded wayyyyy distorted, even when playing at a moderate level.

Yeah, Gorilla Flex is like 6 years old though, but I’m gonna have to agree. Even in modern production, I’ve been hearing way too much music that is just a bull shit song with a good mix. It’s basically just trying to polish a turd

I can see where you’re coming from, but I like a lot of the sound design in his somewhat older tracks. His new ones are kinda just the same thing over and over again though. I’ve only been dropping 40 Cows out live lol.

I think it was more about the message in Anti War Dub, not just the track itself. The meaning and message behind the track was more important, and why it was so popular
