I get what you’re saying, since everything is more exposed in Dubstep and a sudden shift can be jarring. That said, the pay off if the selection is right is much, much bigger.

Definitely not as brosteppy as skrillex, but is severely worse than anything skrillex has made. Sounds like a track made by a 12 year old starting on fl studio.

sorry if im bringing up old arguments here, but i cant let it slide that left leg out is just a lesser lean fwd. i think it’s so reductionist to just say that one track is a lesser version of another by the same producer. man, every guy has their own workflow, their own surroundings, their own sense of sound that makes them who they are - im not saying that this means that all their tracks sound the same/similar by the way. i’d argue left leg out if one of mala’s busiest/most complex tunes
