To be honest, I thought you’d be more interested in the method, than in the results. I’ve always interpreted you as somewhat technically inclined.
The comment about me referencing Youtube a lot is true, and it’s probably because I’m on Youtube 10 hours a day, because of severe depression and an almost complete lack of willpower to do anything else.
The hashtag CONTENT skit I’ve done is obviously not anchored in any real belief of that this is how shit actually works. It comes from a place of extreme sarcasm and a general hatred for the whole “game”.
This is pretty interesting imho, since I can’t remember I’ve interacted that much with you since I joined these boards. But that might just be me not remembering fuck all, tbf. I know we’ve discussed addiction on several occations, since I struggle with some of that.
This is just a weird take though, since I’ve always promoted trying to build fx and stuff from scratch, instead of using loads of plugins etc. I barely use any plugs at all. I am a big fan of complex drum patterns though, so there’s that.
I know I often sound pretty elitistic in writing, and I’ve regretted the way I’ve said things on here some times, especially my attitude towards some of the newer users. I am aware of this, and it’s something I’m trying to work on IRL too. Been getting more antisocial lately. I don’t like it.
