Questions for interview: Addison Groove & Joker

This is happening on Thursday. Last chance to get questions in.

How do you think the dubstep scene in 2015 compares to say the scene in 2008 - for both

For both:

Why do you think many of the big producers have abandoned the scene and the vibes of the true dubstep sound in favour for house, juke and techno etc. or just flat out abandoned the scene all together?

For both:

Who were some of the influential artists both in the dubstep scene and out of the dubstep scene which influenced and inspired your music, or was it the case of the music essentially being your own ideas with very little to no influences from other artists?

For Joker:

Do you have a conscious technique for writing melodies? Or do you just sit at the keys and vibe until you get something good?

is sound design (synths, snares etc) something u enjoy doing or force yourself to do because it’s important,

you’re both big names and get good bookings, what’s your relationship with touring, the idea of getting flown to another city around the world to party seems ideal but it seems like it could be an endless circle of airports on your ones

favourite studio refreshment (/+do you find a joint makes u more or less creative)

definitive bristol dubstep tune

for both:
both of you manage to make simple tracks sound really large and powerful. is this a result of technical tweaking (loads of compression etc) or is there something more involved? maybe the mindset that you will make a track with just 808 drums, or a track just with this one nexus synth… and then try getting the most power out of these few elements
