I apporached it that way, as 12 was easy for me to work with, to divide, and to visualise.
Not sure I nailed it, most of what I made sounded so messy. In the end I decided to just have two or three elements “competing” with each other.
Will see once the playlist goes up…

I have a tune to share but it’s not polyrhythm, it’s jungle. How do I change jungle into polyrhythm jungle? Please help. (Lol)
Maybe just add some synth melodies that are in polyrhythm?

I’ve posted a ton of explanations on how to do polyrhythms already, so you can read through my posts, but basically take 12 beats and accent different parts of it. Divide by 2 for 6 beats, 3 for 4, 4 for 3, 6 for 2. You could also look up some African bell patterns.
Don’t be afraid to submit your song anyway, even if it doesn’t meet the criteria very well. We’d love to listen

Yeah man same. Polyrhythms are seriously one of my favorite concepts so I was excited to hear what people made with them.
Paralytik also suggested to me we don’t worry about anonymity with this one since there’s so few entries, which I’m open to.
I’m curious why we got so few entries for this one. We’re people just busy or not feeling the prompt?
