this is complete horseshit lol. plenty of music other than metal/rock use live drums
Throw back tho isnāt he. The best throwback out there tho
You prolly know about this dude already, but anyways. Iāve got 2 12" with him.
maybe have the DnB not be Jungle since we already did Jungle for the 2nd previous comp?
perhaps unpopular opinion but do we even need a theme/specific genre? sample pack competition were always just that, take these samples and do whatever you want/can with it
not that i care all that much but just my 2 cents
Second this, would be cool with free reins.
maybe it can rotate between the comps?
i think having genre constraints and hearing different interpretations of it can be cool.
Well, kinda, but itās got that new school touch and it isnāt just straight emulation of '95 tunes
my thoughts too.
Hereās the samples, just make a tune, anything you want imo
I disagree with your disagree. Not really many other genres using live drums that have plenty of breaks or drum solos to sample from (not talking about a garage producer that hired a drummer, or house tunes with sampled live one shots)
Thousands upon thousands of metal and rock bands about these days.
Its not like the funk scene is really alive and kicking is it.
Free reign is good, constraints are good.
We can just rotate innit. Nbd.
why donāt we put it to a vote/poll?
What, like, a democracy?
The mods will never allow it. We might start challenging their totalitarian regime
Yeah jazz is definitely a good one for live drumming, bit i would think the time sigs/style of playing wouldnt lend itself to gnarly jungle breaks as much as rock/metal.
Ohhhh man what I wouldnāt do for a soloād version of that drum channel
Best believe Iām taking those synths at 11.12 to 11.24 too
iāve posted this before on hereā¦
Nice one bro
