Random question but does anyone find that if you listen to a growl on laptop or phone speakers, you can’t hear any vocal movement? Really all I can hear is a high end but nothing else, and I wanted to know if anyone else heard the same with any other growls. Just to compare.

Lol everything downloaded on these school laptops is monitored by the IT guys who are old and don’t know our technology at all. Was using Google’s silly proxy and the Soundcloud link still didn’t work haha. My personal laptop is at home. Thanks for the links tho man, Onion browser will be useful on my phone.

Thanks a ton man! it’s a sytrus patch, with vocodex, a bit crusher, formant modulation (highpass lowpass), 2x OTT, distortion and reverb and dimention expander.

I use the filters for the biggest part of the modulation, the reverb dry/wet is automated to only be active while the growl is audible, to fill up the space. The vocodex is there to squeak it up a bit, the ott and distortion are there for loudness and the dimention expander is there for stereo imaging.

Just mess with chains like this yourself and results will sound cool.
Don’t copy it exactly but if you follow the same kind of approach you should get a cool sound. The core of the sound is FM of course.

That’s a really odd way to do stereo imaging, you’re aware of that right? Really resource intensive. You’re away that Xfer gives away a free dimention expander plugin right?

I’m 16 lol. I can view Soundcloud on my phone because of my phone plan but Soundcloud mobile sucks. With the mobile app, you can’t view private links and you’re basically restricted from doing anything besides liking and reposting a track.

It’s my favorite. I don’t use the whole Ozone 5 thing with the maximizer and all that, I just use the “Imager”. I have seperate VSTs of all those built in things to Ozone 5 so yeep. That makes it more efficient.
