I feel like its time I became cocky and said my growl fits somewhere along the Spitfya and Omegamode range, and somewhere between Virtual riot, Skrillex and Barely Alive style processing

It was, actually. If you look up ‘making of lunar’ you can find the wavetable he used so I looked for it and found it in his pack

What filters do you guys use for growls in serum? I love this synth but I cannot for the life of me get even close to the vowels and movement i got out of massives DN, BR and BP. its like the filters are just flimsy.

does anyone have any idea how these types of sounds are made. To be more specific, the first growl sound that happens on the 1/4 note every 2 bar. I can make stuff that sounds similar to it except i can never get it to sound as vocal-ly.
I use the Hyper/Dimension (usually), distortion (but I usually leave it on off and just boost the drive to give it some fullness), Compressor (but I only turn on the multiband, I leave all the major compression to my plugins), EQ (just to fine tune the high/low freqs), reverb (I don’t always but it works well on hardcore-type songs or if it’s being layered under a supersaw), and finally the Phaser ( a little trick I learned from VR, you turn the rate to 8 and fiddle with the feedback and depth, then turn the mixer down and it gives the growls a metallic/organic feel). Hope this helped
