99.9 %…hum…not sure about it man…

Jon I like that snaily thing…sounds wet as FK

Can I get some constructive criticism on my growl at 0:57? https://soundcloud.com/diamic/diamic-losing-ground-ft-anja-enerud

yeah thats dope bruh

I’m working on a remake, and I have virtually every sound recreated basically the exact same down to the automations. However, I’ve never been very good at growls or basses in general, I’m pretty decent at deciphering leads, pads, plucks, etc, but never basses.

How would I go about recreating the basses heard in the drop of this?

So I tried again from my previous link, So I got this instead. I think I’m getting somewhere.

This was fun https://clyp.it/wd5lx2uh

So the way i make my growls, i find a nice source either a kick or a drum loop sample like virtual riot says lo and if it sounds growly from the start keep it if not ill look for another source ,then ill set up the filters, usually a hp12 on serum and i shape it so the peaks on opposite sides of each other collide into each other, sometimes it enhances the growl thus making it louder, clearer, and just gives over all movement to the sound. or ill create some weird alien sounding shit in serum then record it and chop it up then arrange. now from just that information am i doing it right?

check this. https://soundcloud.com/syrant/growl-practice

that’s sooo dope man how did you make that
