The sound design is just phase modulation modulating two random waves with some distortion. The effects were:
- Distortion (just a little)
- EQUO (for morphing vowels)
- EQ (for cutting out the bass, attenuating the mids, and strengthening the highs)
4, Another EQ (to use as a highpass filter)
Modulation was just the volume of the modulator, the highpass filter, and vowel morphing. (EQUO is actually really good at vowel morphing, because it comes with a preset of vowels).

A trick to getting sick vowel formant sounds can be using a vocoder. Try different modulation sources. Hell I’ll even record my own modulators or use animal growl samples lol or is that cheating?

the first bass that hits every 2 bars is basically massive -> vocodex along with some other ableton native plugins (like saturator and amp simulator). the carrier for the vocoder is basically 1 syllable of a voice pitched wayyyy down
the other bass is really just serum into a WOW filter.
if you are in ableton and have some of these plugins, i can definitely give you the whole project

I just started reading stuff on the OG thread and I’ve learned some stuff, and I tried some stuff, this works really well so far. It’s missing some stuff, but I don’t know what. I’m trying to make it more vocally, kinda like Desembra’s Bendal growl, or the growl in Barely Alive’s Sedated Remix, not the VIP the Original Remix.
