Very cool. if your using FM8 what type of waveforms are you using? also, i hear a phaser, which is common in those types of growls, but im wondering what your effects chain looks like?
Just a heads up everyone, but Omega Mode has streamed I think twice in the past two days. I was asleep both times because itās 3 in the morning for me but maybe someone could record it and help me and others out? Supposedly he made growls with FM8 and Serum.

Yeah sure man happy to help out. I am actually using massive on this one but I could use any other synth to make this sound because of the effects on the chain. I use a lot of filters and EQs but I think what you hear is Vocodex. I really just started messing around with massive and putting on a ton of filters and I slowly got my own sound. I think I am going to try making it again in FM8 maybe it would sound better 
I asked Omegamode in his stream if he would tell us the theory behind his growls and he said he might write a big thing about how to make them. Fingers crossed he remembers

yeah I am happy that he streamed, he could have easily just stream himself making music and not showed the screen. I couldnāt believe how much he showed us.
Whereās a good place to learn EQ growls? As in the ones where the movement comes purely from EQs and not a lfo or something
I thought that this JayMac tutorial helped me out and he quotes another EQ tutorial and they both are really good

those are some pretty filthy basses mate keep at it! nice and heavy
