That Maurizio rework of Lyot is so good.
That reminds me of CJ Bolland too, but Ultra mentioned R&S already.
youâre right, of course! got mixed up.
Your list goes in still, gonna check out all those names
tresor is the best label and cristian vogel is the god of techno, all you want to know dubunked !
Thank you so much lol
why are you laughing?
feeling a bunch of new ones
i like the electroid vibes on this one. not overly retro either (well at least as ânot overly retroâ as electro can sound like)

nothing groundbreaking but really well executed imo. definitely better than other contemporary hard techno blawan-by-the-numbers stuff out there

cassegrain mixes on this >>>> the rest are pretty forgettable tho
pole on point as always
mark fell, spaces and arad mixes off this >>
guess this would be more âidmâ than anything but fuck it. heavy af and itâs james ruskin + mark broom so
also related, their ep on skamâs new sublabel kasm https://bleep.com/label/5269-kasm
hervaâs track off that planet mu 20 years comp
nothing new but still p good for that sort of dusty analogue style. he was booked here like last week but cba to go
helena hauffsâs album sounds p promising tho i didnât give it proper listen yet
Two in there that I havenât heard yet so will definitely check those out.
And yeah Hauffâs album is well worth it. A dark take on that classic electro sound.
Some of it kind of reminded me of DAF and Charles Manier.
Super Future Kid is so sick. Really nailed that jacking techno vibe.
anyone else bored with the whole 130/livity w/e uk type techno?
still rate the productions like mistry so far has been on point and alex coultonâs tempa stuff is killer imo but a set or mix of that stuff is either too much (beneathâs shows are too boring) or with loads of bait former âuk bassâ producers that jumped on the next thing http://electronicexplorations.org/?show=alex-coulton
as for livity, i think the novelty wore off by now imo.
maybe one for unpopular onions
I was never a huge fan, but thereâs still some great stuff coming from that corner imo.
I just got the new Simo Cell and I think thatâs really something else. Think it still fits
in that category even though itâs not going to be on Livity
Iâm not very familiar with Alex Coulton. Alex Cortex on the other handâŚ
personally i donât think that recordâs doing anything different
I thought that Soko-ban track sounded quite fresh, but yeah thereâs probably stuff like it.
Have you heard that preview of the new Ansome on Perc Trax?
nope
new Acting Press up on redeye.

Rediscovering Umekâs stuff under the Zeta Reticula alias especially:
Iâd say thatâs electro, but yeah the old Umek stuff is pretty good.
Like pre 2005 I think.
talking about livity, what do you guys think about the new kowton release?
meh.
itâs not that this stuff is boring, itâs just - where did all the dubbyness go? recent productions were all superclean, where as the quality making these plates interesting in the first place was their grittyness. (this applies to the new kowton aswell)
