Did you send the email yet gamer?

Hey, does anyone here know about EQโing in the different frequency ranges?
Itโs a theory I found from Virtual Riot!
\\\\
Itโs where you place your sounds in specific frequency ranges -
which exemplifys the sound and adds a nice distinction.
Iโm pretty ceratin this is a technique that the professionals use
to make their songs really pleasing to the ear,
and is what makes their songs so broad and clear.
Check it out, and lemme know if youโve heard of this before!
I think this how it go:
All your BASS in the lowend.
Leads and Melodies in the mid.
Sound FX and other squeaky sounds in the highend.
This way sounds never compete to be heard,
because they are all in their proper zones to be heard in that range.
Just something I recently heard, and just wondering if anyone else has and does this.
What say ye?
I kinda figured everyone did this as standard?
My impression is that this is more or less common mix-knowledge; every element is supposed to have a place in the mix frequency wise, and you add/remove elements to make the mix as full as you wish for - depending stylistic choices.
Thatโs not to say you need to have an element in every frequency range, but alas, the fewer elements you put in a mix the more each element needs to shine.
Thats also not to say that you can have a โdecentโ mix just by adding a lot of โshitโ elements.
I think this is also true; thatโs why you seldom hear a vocal-line and a guitar solo playing at the same time etc.
Is that just what EQโin / Mixing is?
Yea, I know what you mean.
Another thing I learned about what I was referencing is that
there is even still so much more to it than that!
I think what makes a great producer is
knowing the most about the way sounds mesh together,
and doing the best job of bringing the best qualities of each out in the mix!
\\\\
I think it depends from song to song,
how intricate you want to make a song.
On one hand simplicity is nice in itself,
and on another itโs nice to hear a really intricate lineup of alot of different soundsโฆ !!!
Yup pretty much
Here in Finland, we like Kaka.
that garlic mascot character is awesome
Thaโs a tough one,
because Boy Bawang is Chicacorn.
@IllumiNate
Mine is finished. Here ya go buddyโฆ

Thank you for your lucky 7โs 77th post with your oldschool throwback remix!

I love a great instrumental
About halfway done more or lessโฆ
Did a lot of work today only to realize Iโd forgotten to turn snap-to back on for the last half hour or so lol. Thatโs for the DJs heh heh heh.
What is snap-to-back?

A great big thank you to everyone who decided to jump in this project!
Iโve been spending a lot of time on remixing & mastering the original.
I just learned about Mid Side EQ, and will definitely be adding some of that to the trackโฆ
If you have any great FL Studio videos on Mid Side EQ - send emโ this way!

If you havneโt seen this video titled:
โThe Art Of Mixing (A Arte da Mixagem)โ by David Gibson
The video gives a great visual represntation of how people imagine sounds between speakers, and how certain mixes recquire different mixing techniques!
Itโs a really laid back and goofy oldschool (I think 90โs) vid, but it is jam packed with valuable info!
The first 45 min. is jam packed with inspiring ideas, but if you have a full 2 1/2 + hours - than I highly reccommed watching the whole thing and taking notes.
And if you havenโt mixed/mastered your remix yet, definitely give this a quick viewing!
Cheers all!
Much Love.
