hm the beat could maybe be bit dif vibe i dunno how to explain warmer drums maybe i dunno but i like the groundwork here want to hear more of the piano that comes in at the end

( but yeah if you want to add anything a main melody maybe two dif synths introduced at the beginning with one and when the beat drops a bigger synth or sound completing it or both interacting sth like that )
@Jizz liking the overall atmosphere and sound design, but i feel its a bit too samey for a 5+ min piece, i would definitely add more elements, even if just minor stuff that subtly hint at, if you want to keep it minimal
also i would mess around with this glitchy sounding percussion coming in at the end, like flip it around, add some more FX, possibly use other glitchy hits as incidentals here and there
and not sure if it’s my headphones but the lower part of the spectrum sounds conspicuously empty
@BudSpencertron ♀ 3 nice one again, sounds pretty much finished as is to me, only thing is maybe i’d try to make the beats a bit louder, feels to me like they dont cut through the mix as much as they could. also overall the mixdown sounds a bit muddy but it could be because you got a bit heavy handed on the limiter?
III 2 man this is sick again, not much i would change either, maybe layer some metallic foley sounds on that main snare to make it a bit more snappy? seriously tho you should send this stuff to dj’s (or at least shamelessly post it in the weightless grime thread tbh)

i dont know ig i would disagree here that it needs more it depends on where its uses as a listening song i would say it cant hurt but just sth that runs along pictures or for some artsy stuff maybe not same with the low bass areas
maybe try an octave lower version of this repeating pulsating melodic staby sound like interacting
and you can hint the percs earlier so you have sth going on earlier too
overall it sounds very nice though like all the sounds fit together add to the atmosphere
@BudSpencertron symbol3 making my hifi spit out weird-ass frequencies, booming in the best way right now. this that alphamale shit, fucking hell love the quiet break as well. that sound that comes in the second half, could make a whole other track of this kind with that one too maybe
iii2: oooh yea this one nice. feel that the snare is a bit awkward on this imo. nice break. snare sounds nicer in the second half, but even there i feel it could sound more like that final snare that comes in, the one that fits the halftime groove. the dry snare… good sound, but sticks out a bit on this track. mayb make it a shorter hit or get rid of it (especially in 1st half) ,
@Jizz The one is pretty interesting, quite unsettling in a way. There are a few technical things holding it back for me though. I feel like the bass is too loud. Also that staticy vocal noise is really cool but i think it could be integrated into the tune in a way that would puch the tension further. Right now it just kinda fades in. Also, I think a really subtle layer of white noise hovering over the top of the mix would really help fill in the tune and provide some sonic texture. (but maybe i just love white noise too much haha)
@BudSpencertron damn this one is rude! Cant really say much about it, except I’d raise the volume on the vocal (just a tiny bit). Can you send this one over? Would love to rinse this one out. (Actually, could you just make like a bundle of your recent stuff for me?) Been diggin for a while!
@faultier Really lovely work on this one. Would prob push the volume up on that snare just a bit tho. The texture on that bass <3 Could you clue me in on how you went about achieving that sound?
