@cyclopian raw track, feel like my hifi isnt doing it any justice. the way the bass tone changes is nice and subtle atm which i personally prefer, but i can see a label maybe being like have it start changing earlier… then again, u run ur own label lol. yeah, sick track
@Samuel_L_Damnson great groove. tbh it might work even better with synths distorted to a higher level, though im just guessing here. resample and distort, fuck knows what that would lead to
@BudSpencertron tritonia. simple and catchy bro, i dig it
5. very nice. hats sounding great. switch at 1min is interesting, but i reckon it could be made better. something not so straightforwardly melodic maybe. just a suggestion though. yeah last section is great, there the melody works in a more interesting way imo
@syrup haha yeaa. wana do things to this one. is a tough one to judge mane, stomper already. does exactly what it wants to do, move the floor. maybe mix it down again, for a laugh
@faultier is tough to feedback on this shackleford stuff, simple beats sound complete already. nice choice of art. and yea, would be great to hear what u do with misty hills
Soz guys, feedback incoming in an hour when I get in. Thanks for all the feedback, I’m deffo gonna just sort out a couple things, slam it hard on the master then be done with itlol
@relka What a beautiful soundscape introduction. reminds me of fennesz or something, the drums are mad too. I think sidechaining the delay to the actual drum track would sound fantastic as cycloian said but the fluttering claps sounds really cool imo so big up.
@cyclopian
The bass sounds unusually warm and nice and gritty, i assume thats down to the cassette tape, either way sound cool, the reverb sounds like the one i programmed at uni but better, reminds me of a shwer cubicle. Tbh i dont know if theres much feedback i can give on this one becuase as it is its pretty much held my attention for the whole track and i havent heard much like it before tbh. I uuess just keep making crazy hardware jams
Really really like the beat on this proper heavy and the mix down sounds fine and the track in my opinion is . when thats finished id be really interested in hearing that.

Monolithic sounds, kinda remids me of eskmo or amon tobin or something but more futuristic. i agree that the reese might be a little loud in the mix, if u turned it down slightly and added some high end to it like 8khz shelf it might fit into the mix a bit more. either way it kinda sounds cool cos it really takes u by suprise. I might also wanna hear a little more snare, but that pretty much it.
Big tune
Nice, i do have a place in my heart (secretly) for bass line, its kinda nice to hear something that more closely resembles bassline than all the shit that is coming out now. I think all i would add is maybe use more reverbs and echoes to give stuff some depth and perhaps some silly samples over the top but other than that its a banger.
thx for feedback yeah i hear it now with the reece
K SOME FEEDBACK BACK
@Jizz
listening so far nothing i would change very big soundscape has a insect vibe haha like would work with super macro slowmo footage
hm no its very good definitly a keeper
@cyclopian
yeah i agree if you cut out tiny bit out of the sharpness its still rough but at the edge
love those clipping beats
hm yeah its cool but a real clean mix or bassdrum would maybe push it further
like i want to hear this with some banging techno drums like blawan haha
yeah make a clean version too haha jsut for me
@Samuel_L_Damnson
dig the gnrl start
yeah i love trap haha i personally would go for a wierder upper sound i dig the distorted lower one those upper one maybe sth more digital korg preset grime shit
besides that nice start dig it
@syrup
lol basic start haha dig the acapella
hahah yeah old garage vibes i would like to hear a shuffly garage beat over this bassline
hm and some ne shots of the vocal
dubbed out
like name name name haha
say say say
yeah maybe compress the second bassline tiny bit more to make it more upfront
dig it the most when the 2.16 hi hat comes in ride open hi hat thingy
yeah i would give the bass tiny bit more room/power in the upper area
@faultier
lol another nice instrumental haha as always longer haha and find some mc´s
its kinda hard, i cant figure out what the key is cos the sample is in a weird mode, but it does need more higher stuff. its p much just a sample and drums
@William_Guertin this is not how tuna work. every week everyone pm’s me what they have worked on that week and i post the lot around sunday/monday. you can send whatever you want, any genre, it’s fine if it’s a rough draft.
then we all give feedback to each other. obviously you’re expected to also give feedback to others. the real challenge of tuna is to participate week in week out, everyone makes tunes, but can you make a tuna week?
if that’s fine with you, i’m happy to add the track you posted to the next bundle. welcome to the tunadome.
Idk why I go thru phases of avoiding the internet cos its often so negative and time wast-ey. But this place is always worth coming back to cos of you guys
