Rumblefish is such a special tune with a fresh, unique aesthetic. It has really re-kindled my love for slower creepy dark stuff. It has this weird techno mechanical weight to it and it’s unlike anything else I’ve found online in a long time. By far my favorite out of all these.
Also, I found a mint, unplayed original press of Rapper’s Delight in a dump bin that was being sorted at the local shop for 4 dollars…some kids offing a passed relatives old records not even knowing what any of the shit was i got told.

why though? it regularly gets repressed (which makes its discogs pricing a bit odd)

for a long time there were 0 copies of that release even for sale on cogs, can see why the prices might have gotten a bit inflated
I actually copped the repress bc my copy is actually a bit worn out.
@Gatineau 30 bucks is worth is anyways, its one of the best 12"'s to ever come out imo, at least you didnt pay a ton for some b8 2015 hypestep release on discogs

lol I got mine off scogs too for not much less. I love this tune so much I ordered another copy so I can blend it into itself

I feel like I heard on the old forum that roll with the punches was a bit of a pain to mix. Is that true?
yeah, the first 16/(or 32? the intro is bare long) bars the lead synth is like a bar late, so you have to cue from the bar of silence at the beginning or just cue from when the drums first start, its really weird
you can mix it right from the melody at the start before the beat kicks in as long as you know how the melodies fit the beat, it’s tricky because the melody part starts a bit later than the first beat but other than that it’s easy to mix with imo
