Yeah if you count the beat of silence in the beginning and the melody starts on the 2nd beat it works. Just counting in my head.
it’s a really good tune to mix on vinyl imo but yeah the intro is kinda tough.
i usually wait till the drums to adjust a bit and then fade it in from there. it’s a pretty long tune anyway and blends real well so that works out well imo
generally wait till i hear the snare, don’t find it too hard to mix then, it’s one of those tunes that doesn’t blend beautifully with everything though- i think that flute melody can sound out of time with other beats even when you’ve got the drums in sync and it can also be a bit clashy with other melodies
