Normalize just raises the volume of everything until anything in the recording hits a certain threshold (usually 0db) So if you have anything thatās peaking way louder than the rest normalize wonāt really do much.
I always wondered what the normalise function didā¦ I thought it would be a kind of an opposite compressor, like it would raise the quiet bits to match the loud bits
