agree that latest moves by mixcloud a bit shit with restricting plays and all but is sc not taking down mixes for copyright infringement? at least i know i got a couple mixes taken down, apparently because of hyperdub stuff (not sure, but one started with an ikonika tune and another with a burial tune, so that’s my guess) main reason i put mixes on mixcloud even tho there’s no download there

also u can only upload 3h on sc :confused:

None of them are perfect, but mixcloud is plain broken for me, not being able to rewind is ridiculous lol

its to do with copyright laws, not Mixcloud itself afaik

they use some sort of radio style licensing, hence why you can’t play more than a certain number of tunes from the same artist in a mix (if its copyright algorithm picks up the track IDs)

There’s loads of these sites but usually only 192kbps and I’m a bitrate snob, 320 or gtfo lol

Tbh I’ve never checked the bitrate from that site.
I usually rip mixes for car rides/commutes so 320 ain’t a big deal. Obvs I wouldn’t go below 192 tho. I’m not a snob but I’m not a philistine either.
