also squarespace looks really good for blogs - has a lot of community and engagement stuff you can easily add

for your use case it sounds like too much hassle bc you would need to maintain that shit and keep it secure. doesn’t look too expensive, just cancel the ionos thing and host directly on wp.org? it’s free. squarespace also seems to have a blog thingy.
