I think the best thing to take into consideration is the understanding of the vowels and how the human mouth can make these vowels⌠Something I learned from BARELY ALIVE is that you want to use your mouth and sound it out so that you get the full understanding of the vowel when that process comes into play. The other thing is attempting a reese bass⌠very detuned⌠but the making it sound organized on the top end. The growl you showed here is a different style but may have a very similar vowel construct. I can ask Spitfya what distortion he used. It sounds very tube like but almost Bitcrushy.
Also keep in mind there are many styles of growls. Hell you may even come up with your own and end up putting us in a confused state lol

I use the stock Phaser in FL.
He used Massive and the stock Overdrive in Ableton+maybe the Wow Filter at 1m14-1m15 (the 2 notes)
OmegaMode, how important do you think is stereo imaging when making growls and how stereo should the different frequency ranges be?

my FX Chain went something like this
distortion x3 -> OTT -> Vocal Formant EQ x2 -> vocoder -> EQ x4 -> OTT -> EQ x2 -> Highpass filter -> Phaser -> OTT -> Saturator x2 -> Limiter
