Moi.

I conquered the vocal samples finally, choppy chop chop :scissors:. Used arbitrary self-limitations, made it a lot easier to narrow down and select which bits to use.

Doing a lot of studying these days, trying to shed ignorance and open up to learning (and re-learning) things like it’s the first time I’m hearing this stuff.

There’s a lot I thought I understood that I didn’t, and stuff I had a hard time understanding before that I totally get now. Also re-learning basic signal flow from scratch, maths and stuff. Hard.

Probably gonna submit a gashtrak© but doing my best to avoid a no-show at the end like last time.

Depression and other circumstances have prevented me from working on this. I’ll turn in what I’ve got tho if I don’t manage to work on this more

The man Spinb0t came up with something similar in Ableton Live. I’m happy to share this. It is one of my favorite hacks in Ableton.

Fucking FIIINALLLY got something going all thanks to fucking around with pitch automation on a vocal clip. Printed it, re-imported it and the bassline came naturally, synth, and now the beat sounds okay too.
